Happy Spring! We are thirty days away from our Clark Farm Market Grand Reopening and cannot wait to see all of you.  The market will reopen on Thursday, May 9th and we will have community events throughout the weekend including live music, children’s activities, yoga, vendor tastings and gardening workshops.  Please mark your calendars for a weekend of fun!

In our off-season, we have been busy redesigning our web-site to make it more user-friendly. We have added an E-Commerce page so you can buy our Market Swag on-line, provided links to our available produce with recipes, and created an Events Page to keep you up-to-date on all the fun activities we are planning for the 2019 season.  You can also visit our Farm Team page to learn more about the new and returning members of our market crew.  And there will be some new features inside the market as well, enhancing your customer experience.  If you haven’t already, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for additional news and happenings at the farm and market.

We are very excited to have Meg Howes as our new Market Manager.  A Carlisle resident, Meg comes to us after a career as a local equestrian trainer and small brand manager.  Having worked in the market last season, Meg quickly realized the value of Clark Farm’s mission and joined the crew as Market Manager to enhance connections to our community.  A Skidmore graduate, she studied English and business and hopes her experience and talents further the goals and visions of Clark Farm and Clark Farm Market. When not in the market, Meg is actively involved as Chairperson for CCHS All Night Live, on the board of Friends of CCHS Boys Basketball and enjoys spending time with her husband Greg and three kids, Sam, Chloe and George.

When we reopen, we will have a bounty of our own organic produce including lettuces, spinach, microgreens, radishes, arugula, mustard greens, asparagus and turnips.

Pork cuts, sausages, bacon, lamb cuts and our pasture-raised eggs will also be available . There will be additional varieties of locally made cheeses and cured meats. We have had a lot of fun in the off-season attending “table-top” shows in search of new products and dry goods that are unique and in-line with our mission and our customers’ requests.

Also, we will have new and unique merchandise from local artisans and craftsmen including Tina Labadini Designs, Turning Grace handmade wood turned gifts, cheese and cutting boards from Frank Proctor and of course our newly redesigned T-Shirts, trucker hats, hoodies, pint cups and mugs.
